We meet in the Lower School room on Tuesdays from 2.30.pm - 4.pm. with a cup of tea at 3.30. Our membership stands at 16 with an average attendance of 12. Winter weather caused some cancellations at the beginning and end of 2010 but we have been able to carry out our usual programme including speakers, Bible study, quizzes, Beetle, discussions and impromptu Bring and Share teas as well as pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. Our president Revd. Gwen Collins conducted services of Holy Communion for us in Holy Week and in the week of Remembrance.

This year we experimented with two new ventures. Instead of a Christmas Party we had a New Year Party and this was so successful, in spite of the threat of snow, that we have repeated it this year. It seems likely to become a new tradition. We also tried reviving an old custom of having a Rally in Christian Aid week. This gave us some anxious moments but the actual event was well worthwhile.

We are a friendly, relaxed group and welcome visitors, who will not be asked to make a commitment to come every week. Our programme is in the Recorder every month so do come along if you see something that interests you.
