Trinity has a number of rooms of various sizes which are available for letting to reputable groups for one-off or regular meetings, public use, including worship. Please look through the virtual church below to see if there is a room or hall that would suit your needs. Terms and Conditions apply

The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary

Christian worship meetings, AGMs, Concerts, Performances, Weddings, Fundraising dinners. The Sanctuary seats a maximum of 230 people, 100 downstairs on comfortable chairs, with the possibility of a further 30 older chairs, and a further 100 on pews and chairs in the gallery that encircles the sanctuary. The church has a large dais with comprehensive PA and video projection system, hearing aid "T" loop, organ, & grand piano. The Church has underfloor heating and electric boosters if required. The space is flexible, warm and light.

Alternative no-step access at side entrance on roadway to car park.

Lower Schoolroom (lounge)

The lower school room

A cosy meeting room situated directly behind the church sanctuary with self-contained 'coffee bar', urn and sink, and upright piano. Seats around 30 people theatre-style, or 25 cafe style. Kitchen and toilets close by. Alternative no-step access at side entrance.

Kitchen

With double oven range, double sink (for hand washing and for dish-washing), electric drinking water urn and fridge/ freezer. The kitchen is between the Lower School Room (lounge) and down a flight of stairs from the Crendon Hall.

Crendon Hall

At the rear of the church, this can be used as a very large meeting hall or a small sports hall. Seats around 100 people. Can be used for sports and recreation (size is limited to 1/3rd larger than a badminton court. The use of balls must be limited to a light foam or plastic ball).

The hall is ideal for children's parties, dancing, jumble sales, shows, and judo, etc. It has toilet facilities and a very small kitchenette space giving access to drinking water and washing up. Tables and chairs must be pre-booked.

Crendon Hall is not suitable for access by buggies or wheelchairs.

Lionel Jowett Room

Lionel Jowett room

On the first floor up a flight of stairs at the rear of Crendon Hall, it can be separated into two rooms with a central partition. Each half has its own entrance and combined can be accommodate a maximum of 40 people. Toilets are on the second floor, by the Kate Smith Room.

Facilities

Trinity is able to offer a range of facilities to groups hiring the premises such as cutlery & crockery, PA systems (certain rooms), additional tables and chairs, on request. Please contact lettings@trinity-urc.org.uk for further information.

Hire Rates

Our current hire rates are available to view online or download.

Access

Parts of the Church have limited access for those with a physical disability, as you may imagine for a building of which the oldest part is over 150 years old and which was built on the side of a hill. The following explains which parts of the building are accessible to whom.

Access to the Crendon Hall Access to the West Entrance (step free access to the right of the picture)

  • Sanctuary: (Front) Access from front road (7 metres), 4 steps up to building (hand rails provided) ramp for wheel chair users available on request. (Sides) Alternative access from side road from car park, (2 metres) with ramp or steps.
  • Lower School Room : From side road from car park (2 metres) with ramp or steps.
  • Crendon Hall: 5 metres from road, 3 steps (no hand rail) - ramp on request. Disabled toilet in Hall.
  • Lionel Jowett Room: 10 metres from road, 3 steps down, 8 steps up.

Documents/Terms and Conditions

For information with regard to one off or regualr use of the Building or rooms please contact lettings@trinity-urc.org.uk. Full Terms and conditions are available.

There are limitations on noise, late night finishes, alcohol use and activities, etc. All hirers are asked to leave the premises in a manner they would like to find them. All hiring is subject to the church's discretion.
