Children and youth
We hope you will find Trinity a warm and friendly place for you and your family. We aim to support you in the bringing up of your child(ren) as you journey together and discover the difference faith makes.
Sunday Mornings
The whole family is welcome and each service includes a Talk For All Ages before the children leave for Creche and Junior Church.
All Age Worship is held on the third Sunday each month but under 5s have their own activities if they wish.
Currently we have two classes in Junior Church catering for different age groups.
Youth Groups
That Lot & The Other Lot meet every other Sunday at 6.30pm.
A varied programme of activities is provided and include opportunities to serve in the ministry and life of the Church, including participating in and leading services.
Uniformed Organisations
- Rainbow Guides: girls aged 5-7 meet on Fridays during term time
- Brownie Guides: girls aged 7-11 meet on Tuesdays in term time
- Guides: girls aged 10-15 meet in Thursdays in term time
- Ranger Guides: girls aged 14-25 meet on Thursdays in term time
Child Protection
Trinity is committed to the welfare of children and fully complies with Child Safety Policies. All leaders and helpers are CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) checked.
Activities & Outreach
Social Events
Trinity has a varied social life with regular events throughout the year, including picnics, Caribbean Evening, entertainments, suppers, dances, etc.
Pastoral care
We all care for one another, and the Minister together with a team of Elders and their Pastoral Assistants make regular home visits to all members and adherents whether they are regular attendees or not.
Bible Study
Throughout the year sessions of Bible Study are offered and usually led by the Minister. Currently Trinity is participating in the URC’s Vision4Life programme. Each Lent we join with other local churches to share a Bible course.
Prayer
Trinity is committed to prayer and has a daily prayer, a Prayer Circle For Healing and a Prayer Chain.
Commitment For Life
As part of this URC outreach Trinity is linked with Zimbabwe and has regular news in The Recorder magazine and an annual worship service.
Choir
The Choir help to lead worship each Sunday with a practice on Thursday evening. They also participate in events with other choirs.
Wycombe Winter Night Shelter
This is a joint venture with other local churches which aims to provide food, shelter, support, friendship and much more from January to March each year and Trinity hosts it one night each week.
Coffee Mornings
2nd & 4th Saturday each month 10.30 - 12 noon. All are welcome
Women’s Meeting
Every Tuesday at 2.30pm An opportunity to worship together and share in fellowship as well as a cup of tea and cake.
Nightbirds
An evening women’s social group meeting in members’ homes 2nd and 4th Monday each month.
OATS
Once A Term Session for adults under 50 to socialise and enjoy a time of fellowship together.
Movers & Shakers
Caribbean Elders group meeting each Friday 10.30am - 1.30pm includes lunch & exercise.
